The research in this annual report estimates all giving to charitable organizations across the United States.\n\n\n\nPresenter Dr. Patrick Rooney offers a first look at the soon-to-be released and widely anticipated 2019 edition of Giving USA. He will offer critical observations about current giving trends and where philanthropy is headed in the United States. Of special interest in the report this year is how the giving landscape may have been impacted by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.  Will the 2018 growth in charitable giving continue?\n\n\n\nPresenter:\n\n\n\nPatrick M. Rooney\, Ph.D.\, is the Executive Associate Dean for Academic Programs\; Professor of Economics and Philanthropic Studies at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. He is a nationally recognized expert on philanthropy and charitable giving and speaks frequently across the country on issues related to philanthropy and management of nonprofit organizations. \n\n\n\nA program of the 501(c) Success National Speaker Series.
