Join us for a fun\, casual evening in the warehouse with drinks\, light snacks\, and plenty of opportunities to meet someone new.\n\nDrinks provided by Boulevard Brewing Company!\n\nThis role is great for \n\n\n	\n	21+ volunteers\n	\n	\n	All our 9 to 5'ers\n	\n	\n	Those who want to give like Dolly\n	\n\n\nVolunteers will \n\n\n	\n	Sort incoming donated produce into one of four redirection tiers\n	\n	\n	Help organize crates and pack pallets for distribution\n	\n	\n	Support warehouse staff with organization\, maintenance\, and cleaning\n	\n\n\nYour Impact\n\nBy volunteering with Produce Sorting\, you're helping make sure fresh\, affordable produce reaches Kansas City neighbors while keeping good food out of landfills.\n\n\n	\n	1 pound sorted = 4 servings of fresh produce for someone in our community\n	\n	\n	Volunteers help support fresh food access for 500\,000+ Kansas City residents each month\n	\n	\n	Kanbe's rescues $5.7+ million worth of food from landfills each year\n	\n\n\nCome sort\, sip\, and kick off Hunger Action Month with us!
