More than you might think! As volunteer managers\, you wear many different hats. You know how to communicate with your audience\, and follow through with the adage of "the show must go on." If you're trying to balance the many parts of serving as a volunteer manager\, then this session is for you. \n\n \n\nJoin Mikala Stacer\, Volunteer Coordinator and Communications Specialist at The Learning Club\, to learn how she balances multiple roles in her volunteer management program. In this session\, she will cover what it means to rehearse for your role\, work with the ensemble\, and go off script in the volunteer management world.\n\n \n\nThen\, we'll use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm solutions\, exchange ideas\, and gain new insight from your nonprofit peers. Since earning her BFA from Avila University in 2018\, Mikala's talents have been showcased on stages and screens in Kansas City and Atlanta. Becoming a Volunteer Coordinator and Communications Specialist at the Learning Club has given her an opportunity to translate her creative problem solving skills to the nonprofit sector.
