DESCRIPTION:Seton Center is hosting a Zero Suicide Prevention training on November 13th from 9 am-11 am at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Memorial Foundation and we'd love to invite you\, your staff\, and your community. \n\n \n\nThis training is provided by the QPR Institute and Ascension Health. QPR stands for: Question\, Persuade\, and Refer. The goal of this training is to "come to recognize the warning signs\, clues\, and suicidal communications of people in trouble\, and gain skills to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy." \n\n \n\nThe training will take place in the "Troost" conference room and will count for 2 hours of Continuing Education Credit! There will be tea and coffee to enjoy while listening to our engaging and well-informed speakers. \n\n \n\nThis training is cost-free\, but does require you to sign up via "Sign Up Genius." We would love to have you join us in person\, but we understand schedules can become hectic\; therefore\, we will also have a Google Meet link you can use to tune into the training at your leisure!
