As a leader it is important to first understand your own capacity for change before you can lead others through change. Do you struggle with changing priorities and taking on new responsibilities? Do you proactively anticipate future challenges and opportunities? Do you adapt quickly to difficult situations? How do you lead in a constantly changing environment? How you lead an organization that is required to change internally so that it can create change externally may be the difference between meeting mission or missing the mark.
Disruptive changes in our society often require responsive changes in our operations, our work plans, and most importantly our willingness to change. During this workshop, we will help leaders assess their change resiliency. Using techniques such as interactive discussion prompts, polls, and tactile illustrations, our facilitator will stretch participants in order to enhance their flexibility and adaptability. Participants will engage in a change resiliency self-assessment to understand their personal change resiliency. This baseline info will serve as a launching point for a discussion on practical steps leaders can take to become more resilient to change. Leaders who are resilient to change become change champions and valued stakeholder in their organization.
Goals and Objectives:
