Whether you've held a leadership position for decades or you're an emerging leader still looking for your seat at the table, you play a role in creating a diverse and welcoming leadership team. To date, leadership in the nonprofit sector does not yet reflect the communities we live in or the clients we serve. Fortunately, there are tangible steps we can take right now to start the long journey towards a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive leadership structure.
In this engaging live, online session, Dr. Shirley Davis will share strategies to help your organization put diverse leadership in action. Specific topics include:
Taking Seats: Emerging leaders will learn how to snag their seat and make it count;
Making Room: Established leaders will learn how to help make room and maximize new voices from diverse perspectives;
Bringing up the next cycle of leaders: Once you have your seat, learn how to bring up the next generation of leaders behind you.
Participants will walk away with practical tips, skills, strategies, and inclusive leadership behaviors necessary for building a welcoming, winning, and high-performing team.
This is a program of the National Speaker Series in partnership with Connext: Emerging Nonprofit Leaders.
Please note: This is a live, online session. Recordings will not be available after the presentation.
