What projects or programs are good candidates for a grant? Where do you find prospective grantors? How do you approach them? How do you craft a grant proposal? Whose help do you need? What tools and templates are available?
Clearly a grant award is the culmination of serious planning, research, cultivation and, finally, writing. Join us for this second session to learn the basics – the who, what, when, where, why and how of grants. These sessions are appropriate for program staff and fundraisers who want to learn or review grant skills.
Presenter Cynthia Robinson is a grant consultant and the founder of Grantelligence, an organization working to help nonprofit agencies thrive through grants and fund raising. She has been in nonprofit management and pursuing grants since 1981.
Note: Attendance at the first Grant Writing session in March is not a prerequisite to attend and benefit from this one.
