Project GreenLight Launch Event
Wednesday, February 1, 2023
2-3pm
Screenland Armour Theater in North Kansas City
Kansas City Community Bail Fund will soon launch Project GreenLight- a program created to help Kansas City-area’s most marginalized residents drive legally, and prevent fines, possible arrest, and crippling debt that are commonly the result of out-of-compliance driving.
The goal of Project GreenLight is to assist those who genuinely need help by paying for expenses related to driving legally, including:
· Vehicle registrations
· License plate renewals
· Insurance
· Driver’s license renewals or reinstatements
· Fees and fines
I’d like to invite members in your organization you think would be interested to attend an upcoming event to learn about this program and how it will benefit Kansas City-area residents, especially your clients, who desperately need this help.
Those receiving assistance from Project GreenLight will no longer experience the agonizing stress of driving out of compliance and worrying about being pulled over, arrested, or towed- and the likelihood of incurring additional fines or getting arrested will be eliminated. By removing the barrier of driving illegally, more people in our community will safely drive to work, their children to school, grocery store, and medical appointments… leading to healthier and more stable individuals, families, and communities.
We hope you will join us on February 1 for this exciting one-hour event.
