Lessons from the trenches . . .
The IRS is continually developing new ways to use the limited resources available to ensure tax-exempt organizations are in compliance with all the requirements for exemption and adhere to all applicable tax laws. This session explores what the IRS is doing to determine what organizations to focus IRS exams on and key areas of the Federal Form 990 and 990-T that may raise “red flags” for the IRS or the general public.
Our presenter is Greg Sullivan, manager with BKD, a national CPA and advisory firm. Greg works in the Kansas City office performing services for organizations in a variety of industries, including not-for-profit, health care, construction, manufacturing and distribution and franchisee owner/operators.
