In a few short weeks, our day-to-day world has been turned upside down. Physical distancing and isolation measures, and the closing of schools and workplaces, can be particularly challenging for us, as they affect what we love to do, where we want to be, and who we want to be with. Those of us working in the nonprofit sector may feel especially concerned as we find ourselves with fewer resources, and even the physical ability to fulfill our missions during this time.
During this session psychologist Dr. Linda Moore discusses how we can respond to the coronavirus pandemic in a way that will preserve our psychological well-being. Dr. Linda will offer advice and resources. Additionally, you are invited to identify the stressful situations you are juggling/experiencing, and she will share specific techniques for managing, coping and practicing self-care.
