Personal Hygiene products for home-bound older adults

Picking up frozen meals from our partner warehouse. Volunteers will be utilizing the Shepherd’s Centers van (or personal pickup truck if preferred). Once items are picked up and loaded volunteers will then sort at distribution location for other volunteers to deliver to homebound clients.

Help feed homebound Seniors by leading Frozen Food Delivery

VCP is in need of an multiple individual volunteers to help with our front desk at our Outreach Center. Our Outreach Center is for any Veteran to come receive services such as food, hygiene, emergency assistance and more! This unique volunteer position works directly with Veterans in need. Because of the sensitive nature of this position, an interview, orientation, and a trial period are required. Please send an email to ahawkins@veteranscommunityproject.org with a resume attached.

The JFS Food Pantry serves over 250 families each month in the greater Kansas City area. Donate your time by helping shop with food pantry recipients in the grocery shopping area of the food pantry or help deliver food to homebound clients.
