Hope Lodge General Volunteer
Help us attack Cancer from every angle by sharing your time and talents!
American Cancer Society Hope Lodge general volunteers help with a variety of daily tasks such as organizing, maintenance, and/or providing entertainment to Hope Lodge guests.
Opportunities are available 7 days a week. Sample opportunities include: light housekeeping, laundry, activity calendar coordination, office coverage, preparing meals, improving facility and grounds, gardening, coordinating and leading guest entertainment, games and activities , facility decorating for special occasions and holidays and other activities specific to local lodge and volunteer interest.
Covid-19 policy compliance is required. Commitment to following Hope Lodge policies and procedures helps keep our guests healthy while they are receiving treatment.
Volunteers should be age 18 or older; youth volunteers may be accepted with adult chaperones. Activation will be complete once all training, paperwork, and background check are complete, generally within two weeks.
