About Us

WHO AND HOW WE SERVE
Flourish Furniture Bank partners with organizations who provide social service case management to eligible families and individuals and refer them to Flourish. Referrals include those who have come out of homelessness through self-sufficiency programs, children in and those teens aging out of the foster care system, domestic abuse survivors, veterans, disaster victims, and those being released from incarceration. These households (1) do not have the furnishings or household goods they are asking for, (2) have no other means to obtain what they need, and (3) are responsible for scheduling their appointment time and securing adequate transportation to pick up their furnishings.

DONATIONS
As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible. Accepted donations include monetary as well as donated household items. Items processed include essentials that make a house a home, from beds, dressers, tables, sofas and lamps, to kitchenware, bath necessities.. All items are offered free of charge to the client based on household size. Flourish is proud to restore, reuse, share or recycle 98% of those items which are in a condition inappropriate to offer.

EXPERIENCED IN LARGE QUANTITY AND HOTEL DONATIONS
We have assisted multiple hotel chains & organizations moving through renovation and soft good upgrade cycles. These properties include all the major brands serving the greater Kansas City area.
