The mission of Heartland Therapeutic Riding is to serve children and adults with disabilities and to improve their quality of life through equine-assisted activities and therapies.
Each week, individuals with disabilities from around the Kansas City area attend Heartland Therapeutic Riding to ride and achieve goals they once only dreamed about. Therapeutic riding provides a sense of freedom and mobility to our riders that is rarely experienced elsewhere in their lives. Our horses introduce our riders to a new world, a world that is full of possibilities and hope.
We are committed to changing lives, one ride at a time.
Heartland Therapeutic Riding is a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.)
