Jackson Thomas, Founder and Artistic Director of the KC VITAs Chamber Choir, is a conductor, tenor, and teacher in the Kansas City area. As a conductor, he works with ensembles of all ages and levels, teaching Middle School Vocal Music for the Kansas City Kansas school system and serving as Director of Choral Music at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Lenexa, KS where he directs the Chancel, Bell, and Children's Choirs. As a performer, Jackson sings reguarly as a soloist of operatic and musical theatre literature, and sings with several ensembles in the area. He also maintains a private voice and paino studio. Jackson holds a Bachelor's in Voice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master's in Choral Conducting from the Unviersity of Kansas.
