About Us
Since 1959, Northland Clothing Center (formerly Clay County Clothes Closet) has facilitated an impactful clothing resource program for underserved individuals residing in the Northland Kansas City (MO) region.
Partnering with area schools and social service agencies providing needs assessments and referrals, NCC serves 2,700+ individuals and families in Northland KC, providing them the opportunity to select a wardrobe of clothing to meet their personal need and style for school, work, and community activities and helping to remove barriers for success in school and the workforce.
NCC facilitates its clothing resource program with by a staff of about 60 volunteers who donate 11,000+ hours annually.
