About Us

Belief Statement
At The Dogwood House, we believe in the power of restoration through Christ. Inspired by the dogwood tree—an enduring symbol of strength, protection, and new life—we are committed to providing refuge and renewal for women who have survived sex trafficking.

Mission Statement
The Dogwood House Sanctuary provides faith-based transitional housing for women who have survived sex trafficking, offering a safe place to live, continued healing, and financial and spiritual guidance as they rebuild independence and stability through Christ.

Vision Statement
To create a world where women who have survived sex trafficking are not only safe, but deeply restored — emotionally, spiritually, and physically — in a space that honors their dignity and renews their strength. Just as the dogwood blooms after hardship, we envision every woman blossoming into wholeness and purpose.

Our Core Values
Restoration: We believe healing is possible — through safe space, compassion, and time.
Strength: Like the dogwood tree, we stand strong in the face of adversity, offering unwavering support to women rebuilding their lives.
Grace: We meet every story with empathy, humility, and unconditional love.
Dignity: We honor each woman's worth, voice, and journey toward renewal.
Faith: Guided by Christian hope and compassion, we serve as a sanctuary of light in dark places.

The Dogwood House is more than a place to stay. It is a place to rise.
