About Us

Mission: To create access to opportunities for Black 5th-12th grade students that help them grow, have fun, and become change agents in their community. (501c3) designated youth organization

Areas of Focus: Arts (visual, performing, fine, & culinary), Fitness (holistic health), Recreation, and Future Goals (college, career, entrprenuership)

Values: At VKC, we value COMMUNITY. We acknowledge the wealth of knowledge and resources that reside among us.

We understand that our children's future is dependent on the village making our presence known, and showing up in their lives. Therefore, we all must be STAKEHOLDERS in the upbringing, support, discipline, and encouragement of our youth. Whether it's Black business owners, church leaders, educators, etc. - - - everyone has a PLACE and a PURPOSE in the village.
