DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, May 17\, Wyandot Behavioral Health Network is hosting its third annual stART the conversation art exhibition. stART the conversation is a mental health focused art exhibition that takes place during Mental Health Awareness Month and in conjunction with the larger Downtown KCK Third Friday Art Walk. The goal of stART the conversation is to provide an equitable platform for Wyandot BHN clients\, staff and other community artists to share about their mental health & recovery journey through their art. Last year's exhibition featured 100 pieces of artwork from nearly 60 adult and youth artists. In addition to providing a platform for artists\, the exhibition also educates about behavioral health through art\, promoting mental health resources and support. It engages community audiences in meaningful mental health dialogue in a non-clinical setting\, helping dispel myths and emphasizing the reality of recovery.
