SUMMARY:The Story You Forget to Tell (That Leaves Money on the Table)
DESCRIPTION:A National Speaker Series with Lori L. Jacobwith\n\nAre you more comfortable asking people to attend an event rather than to donate money? Most of us are. What if there was a way to ensure people want to give more\, without resorting to begging? In this interactive session\, you'll learn a simple\, powerful tool that has helped thousands of nonprofits exponentially increase their fundraising revenue. You'll build on the three tools learned in July as you incorporate one simple change to your fundraising messages that will cause your community to give more and give longer.\n\n\n\nThis session will equip you with the confidence to talk about the money your organization needs while elevating your fundraising efforts to achieve exceptional results.\n\n\n\nAttendees will learn:\n\n\n	\n	Why we shy away from asking people for money and what to do about it.\n	\n	\n How to share your money story so it inspires giving.\n	\n	\n	How to powerfully combine your money story with a mission moment story. \n	\n\n\nThis is a program of the National Speaker Series.\n\nPresenter:\n\n\n\nLori L. Jacobwith is a nationally-recognized fundraising culture change expert and master storyteller who has been named one of America's top fundraising experts. She has delivered more than 10\,000 coaching and training sessions that have helped nonprofit organizations raise more than $500 million dollars from individual donors. Lori helps staff and board members share their stories powerfully and effectively to cause donors to give more. With a BA in Political Science and Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota\, Lori also has training from Indiana University's Fund Raising School and is a longtime member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.\n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n\nNo refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the program date. No shows will be billed. Nonprofit Connect may take photographs\, screenshots\, or video recordings at public and virtual events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information. Each registration is for one individual. We kindly ask that you do not circulate your webinar link with others who have not registered.\n\n\n\nSo that we can serve you better\, we want to understand who is in the room.
