We look forward to your participation!\n\n\n\nThis roundtable is intended for nonprofit professionals who work in volunteer management.\n\n\n\nFacilitators:\n\n\n\nAriel Penner\n\nFor nearly 10 years\, Ariel Penner has been a leader in the non-profit space. Ari is most known for her nearly tenure work with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC)\, where she began as an intern\, grew into a Program Manager and is currently working as the charity's Volunteer Manager\, overseeing 17\,000+ volunteers annually. The mission of RMHC-KC is to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families. \n\n\n\nAri began her career in non-profit work during her Masters of Social Work program\, where she graduated with her MSW degree in Administration and Advocacy from the University of Kansas. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology from Baker University where she was a collegiate cross country and track athlete\, along with an active leader in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. \n\nMore recently\, Ari acted as the Chair of genKC leading a group of 50+ members and providing early career professionals with opportunities to enhance personal and professional skill sets in KC. In this role\, she is also a member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors\, helping lead the way to the best KC region. \n\n\n\nOutside of her work with the Chamber\, Ari is an ice hockey player\, an avid runner and is currently a member of Team RMHC\, running and training for her seventh Chicago Marathon. She's a proud long-time KC transplant from Newton\, KS who you can often find running with various friends and running groups all over the metro. \n\n\n\nMike Marcus\n\n \n\nPassionate about driving positive change through authentic relationships and meaningful action\, I excel in uniting diverse stakeholders for collective community growth. As Community Engagement Coordinator at Reconciliation Services\, I work to magnify voices and craft solutions that tackle social issues from the ground up.\n\n\n\nWith a proven track record in driving revenue and operational excellence\, I blend seasoned business acumen with emotional intelligence in leadership. My role involves not just community investment but also revenue enhancement through strategic partnerships and earned income opportunities\, such as Thelma's Kitchen.\n\n\n\nDrawing on a rich tapestry of experience ranging from customer service and project management to advocacy I'm deeply committed to reciprocal transformation: enriching lives while achieving organizational goals.\n\n\n\nEmpathy and active listening are cornerstones of my approach\, fostering spaces where every individual feels heard and valued.\n\n\n\nYou!\n\nYour active participation is highly encouraged. No one has all of the solutions\, but everyone has something worth contributing. Your small group discussion participation will help others share\, grow\, and learn. Please come prepared to talk and engage in discussion. \n\n\n\nCancellation/Program Policies:\n\nNo refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the program date. No shows will be billed. Nonprofit Connect may take photographs\, screenshots\, or video recordings at public and virtual events\, so we ask that you read our Privacy Policy for more information. Each registration is for one individual. We kindly ask that you do not circulate your webinar link with others who have not registered.\n\n\n\nSo that we can serve you better\, we want to understand who is in the room.
