About Us
At Your Pace is a Kansas City nonprofit founded by parents and pediatric professionals who understand the real-life challenges families of children with disabilities face. We provide free, open-access support through adaptive equipment lending, inclusive play opportunities, pop-up consultations, community events, and practical solutions that help children participate more fully at home, in recreation, and in their communities. Unlike traditional service models, At Your Pace meets families where they are, removing barriers to equipment, information, and connection. Our volunteer-driven approach empowers families, coaches, schools, and community organizations with hands-on guidance, adaptive recreation resources, and judgment-free support. Through collaboration, creativity, and community, we help make inclusion possible for every child.
