About Us
The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation administers donor-advised funds and other charitable investment accounts for thousands of philanthropists in the Kansas City region. Donor-advised funds allow donors to set aside assets exclusively for charitable giving, invest those assets for potential growth and recommend grants to any 501(c)(3) public charities, religious organizations, educational institutions and governmental entities.
Some nonprofits work with the Community Foundation to establish agency funds, which provide a reliable, cost-effective option for long-term assets. Organizations can choose how their fund is invested and request distributions as needed.
