About Us
The mission of Horizon Academy is to empower students diagnosed with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities to become effective learners and confident self-advocates. We are the only accredited school in the Kansas City metro area offering services to students with dyslexia. The student/teacher ratio is 4:1, and we serve more than 300 student each year through our Academic Year Program and Learning Center programs.
