For more than 20 years, I’ve helped nonprofits steer through transition, realignment, and growth with organizations just finding their footing to established organizations/businesses navigating new currents.

As the founder of SmartConnectKC, and a longtime nonprofit executive and trainer, my work centers on creating calm, clarity, and confidence for leaders and boards who are carrying a lot while conducting important work.

Today, I focus on fractional and interim executive leadership, board and executive coaching, and strategic support that strengthens operations, aligns governance, and prepares organizations for what’s next. I’m especially energized by helping nonprofits and companies integrate AI and emerging technologies in practical, mission-focused ways that improve efficiency, enhance service delivery, and support staff and leadership teams.

I walk alongside nonprofits in their most important seasons by strategizing what’s urgent, illuminating what’s possible, and helping everyone see their role more clearly.
