Cecil Wattree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a macro level lens whose work has focused on practice and implementation in Mental Health, Education and Social Justice. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Emporia State University and Master of Social Work from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Cecil is the founder and executive director of the non-profit The Kansas City Black Mental Health Initiative (KCBMHI) devoted to inclusion in the mental health to destigmatize mental health in the KC metro Area’s Black Community. Mr. Wattree is not only a gentleman and a scholar, but a family man. It is his mission and intent to encourage everyone to have the strength to win!
