Professional collaboration tends to be more about the outcome than the process. However there's much to be gained from the process of collaboration, if you're really engaging in it. In this session you'll hear how to collaborate in a meaningful way, where process is organic and can turn into the most important outcome for long-term success. The lessons learned and successes achieved that will be shared will give you hope that collaboration is more than just a buzzword.
This presentation will be beneficial for all levels of nonprofit leadership, from executives and seasoned professionals, to board members and to those in the beginning stages of their careers.
Our presenter is Molly O’Neill, President and CEO of First Call Alcohol/Drug Prevention & Recovery, a nonprofit that provides prevention and recovery services to over 20,000 individuals in the Kansas City area annually. When it comes to collaboration, Molly speaks from strong experience. Since joining First Call in 2008, she has worked collaboratively with board, staff and community to invigorate the organization, successfully leading it to a 54% growth over a three-year period of overall economic decline, 2009-11.
