In today's world, nonprofit organizations must work harder to be noticed by funders, potential stakeholders and even prospective clients. Storytelling is an essential part of nonprofit communication and integral to an organization’s ability to advance its mission.
Having a well-crafted and authentic story will help you persuade granting organizations that you are the right nonprofit for them to fund, help your stakeholders communicate your mission more effectively, motivate donors and make your outreach to clients that much more powerful. What's more, when your staff knows your story and believes in it, they will be more passionate about their work.
This highly participatory introductory workshop will help you identify some of your organization's key story elements, craft those elements into several narratives appropriate for different audiences and conquer the challenges of telling your story.
Special opportunity: Laura is offering three (3) one-on-one 30 minute consultations immediately following her presentation to further hone your nonprofit's story. You'll be able to indicate your interest in this offer when you register for the program. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.
