Marketing managers help get the word out. Whether it’s promoting your upcoming fundraiser, sharing success stories, or building advocates for your cause, you are responsible for engaging your audience to take action. In this age of social distancing, “Zoom fatigue,” and quarantine, how can you energize your audience to engage with your organization beyond liking your social media post or opening your email?
Join Branden Haralson, Communications Manager, Engagement & Public Policy at ArtsKC, to learn strategies and insight about “rallying the troops” around your cause, and leveraging their engagement to help your organization achieve its goals and spread the word about important updates regarding your mission.
This session will take advantage of breakout rooms to discuss and exchange ideas with your nonprofit peers.
This is a program of the Let's Connect Virtual Discussion Series.
Branden Haralson has served his community in many different capacities. He has worked as Campaign Organizer for Hillary for America, founded the new progressive organization Heartland Alliance for Progress, and has served on the boards of Kansas City Human Rights Campaign, Kansas City Center for Inclusion, and Heart of America Young Democrats. In 2020, Branden once again put his skills to use as the Midwest Social Media Manager for the Biden presidential campaign. Everyday, he works within his role as Communications Manager, Engagement & Public Policy at ArtsKC to tell the story of the vibrant and critically-important arts community within the Greater Kansas City region.
