Phoenix Family is once again grateful to be the charity partner for the Dad and Daughter 5k! We need your help ensuring the race runs smoothly. Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks including cheering walkers/runners on along the route, helping with registration, directing traffic/parking, kids' activities, and more! CDD needs volunteers to participate in its Be-Friending program. We match our individuals with friends in the KC community to facilitate an engaging, healthy and fun lifestyle for our individuals. Please reach out to Zandt Durham for more information.

Volunteers Needed at the Folly Theater

We need roughly 16 volunteers per show for roughly 10-12 shows per month. Most volunteers work as ushers at the theater, but we also need ticket takers, theater greeters, and concession workers.

Board of Trustees opportunity at Elmwood, one of KC’s oldest cemeteries, in continuous operation since 1872. While we do everything you’d expect of a cemetery, we are also positioning Elmwood as a vibrant park and arboretum, providing 43 acres of rolling green space to the Northeast KC neighborhoods surrounding Truman Road. Our chapel is in demand for weddings, funerals and other special occasions. And we are a uniquely qualified resource for historical and genealogical research for our great city.
