What Funders Look for in a Winning Grant Proposal
Figuring out the right way to pitch your grant proposal to a funder may seem like an impossible task. Fortunately, there are proven formulas and things that even a "dummy" can do to make your grant proposal sing.
Join Grant Writing for Dummies author and grant expert, Dr. Beverly A. Browning, to learn what funders look for in your grant requests. Dr. Bev will take you through every section of the grant application's narrative and budget section and point out the red flags that can result in not receiving a grant award. Sections that will be reviewed include:
- Organization History and Capability
- Statement of Need
- Program Design
- Evaluation Plan
This session is ideal for anyone who writes grants, whether you are a full time grant writer, a volunteer board member, or a consultant looking to get into the grant writing business. Participants in this session will walk away with an increased awareness of funding request red flags and tips on how to maximize the impact of your narrative responses in online e-grant applications portals.
As a bonus, one attendee will receive a free copy of Grant Writing for Dummies - 6th Edition, authored by Dr. Beverly A. Browning.
