Our Fall/Spring Saturday STEM Seminars offer a fantastic and FREE chance to get introduced to the diverse world of STEM careers and professionals. Held about once a month, this series aims to expose students and public alike to cutting-edge topics in science and showcase the career paths taken by an array of STEM experts - from aerospace engineers to forensic specialists. As an added incentive, at the end of each semester, the Kansas City area educator who sends the most students to our seminars (for some extra credit hopefully!) will be awarded a special prize!
Aerospace engineers are all around us, sometimes working in areas we maybe don’t expect them. We will discuss the various fields of work an aerospace engineer could pursue, as well as one engineer’s work that took her all the way to the South Pole.
