Sidney Smith joined Nonprofit Connect in the summer of 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer, bringing nearly a decade of executive leadership experience. Having served in roles as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sidney has honed his expertise in various nonprofit and healthcare settings, catering to predominantly under-resourced demographics and communities, both urban and rural.
With hands-on and theoretical experience, Sidney excels in developing strategic plans for multi-million dollar organizations, spanning both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. His educational background is rooted in business, and he holds a professional certification in Strategic Planning from the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP).
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sidney is deeply committed to giving back to the communities that have shaped him. One of his professional passions lies in assisting organizations in clarifying their business objectives, aligning with their overarching mission for impactful outcomes.
