Webinar: Grant Writing 101

Webinar: Grant Writing 101

Successful grant writing is essential to the growth and sustainability of your organization, but it certainly comes with a learning curve. Grant writing can be intimidating, frustrating, and time consuming. For small organizations, it can be especially challenging to divide your attention between seeking funds and managing an organization or even delivering services. How can you make the best use of your valuable time and increase your likelihood of getting funded?

Cori Stites, MSW, joins us to offer practical approaches and tips. She has experience working on both sides of the fundraising process, as a grant writer and a funder. During the webinar you will learn how to:

  • Decide which grant opportunities are right for your organization;
  • Tailor your message;
  • Balance feel-good storytelling and data-driven substance; and
  • Leverage both awards and rejected grant applications.

This session is ideal for those who are new to grant writing or just want to get back to basics.

A program of the Grant Writing Series.
