Kansas City Municipal Court Friends of Specialty Courts Board of Directors

The Kansas City Municipal Court Friends of Specialty Courts (501(c)3) is looking for board members that want to have a direct positive impact on the lives of those struggling with substance use and mental health issues.  Board members will have a role in the distribution of donated funds to specialty court participants to use for necessities that are not covered by grants or court funding.  Board members will be able to see the progress of those court participants they are assisting with much needed funding for dental work, first month rent, college application fees, and a multitude of life expenses that many of us take for granted.  Specifically, the Friends of Specialty Courts is looking for board members with:

 

1. a background in accounting


2. a background in marketing


3. experience in developing a social media presence

 

All interested board members with a passion for serving those who are working towards a fulfilled, sober lifestyle are encouraged to apply!
