Board Treasurer

The Treasurer for City in Motion Dance Theater shall serve under the direction of the Board and is responsible for overseeing the Corporation’s finances. This includes safeguarding the Corporation’s funds and maintaining accurate and complete records of its assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and other financial transactions.

The Treasurer shall ensure that all Corporation funds and other financial assets are deposited in the Corporation’s name and in accounts approved by the Board.

The Treasurer shall ensure that payments and other disbursements are made appropriately and supported by proper documentation.

In general, the Treasurer shall carry out the responsibilities normally associated with the position and any other duties assigned by the President or Board.
