Volunteer at the 2026 Ivanhoe Park Celebration!

The Ivanhoe Park Celebration commemorates the years of work and progress put into the Ivanhoe Park. Once a hub of gang violence, drug activity, and prostitution, the Ivanhoe Park is now reclaimed into a welcoming, vibrant space reflecting the pride of Ivanhoe. With each celebration, we reinforce the shared commitment amongst Ivanhoe for a better and brighter future. Attendees can expect a fun-filled day with free food, drinks, and live entertainment. Numerous fun activities will be hosted, such as a live petting zoo, a bubble party, a mobile stem lab, a visit from the KCFD fire truck, bouncy houses, face painting, a cake walk, horseback riding, and more. Alongside the fun includes tables from community resources like MothersInCharge, the Heartland Conservation Alliance, and more. And best of all, this entire day is FREE!



This day needs the help of plenty of volunteers to be made possible. No experience is needed! Volunteers can take whichever shift works best for them (9 AM - 12 PM or 12 PM - 3 PM), and will help assist with:

• Welcome Table


• Meal Service


• Assisting with Kids Games


• Set up 


• Clean-up 

The 2026 Ivanhoe Park Celebration takes place on Saturday, July 25th at 4300 Brooklyn Ave, KCMO 64130.
