Volunteer Opportunity: Help Feed Hope at Lazarus Ministries KC

Do you have a heart for serving others? Join the volunteer team at Lazarus Ministries and help us provide nutritious meals, compassion, and hope to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Whether you're an individual looking to give back, a family wanting to serve together, a student needing service hours, or a business, church, or civic group searching for a meaningful volunteer experience, we would love to welcome you.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Serving hot meals to our guests
• Food preparation and kitchen support
• Dining room hospitality and guest engagement
• Boutique assistance (sorting, organizing, and helping guests)
• Donation sorting and stocking
• General facility support and special projects

Volunteer Schedule

Our greatest need is for Saturday meal service (9am - 1pm), but weekday opportunities are available for individuals and groups based on organizational needs.

No experience is necessary—just a positive attitude, a willingness to serve, and a heart for our community. We provide orientation and training to ensure every volunteer feels prepared and supported.

All volunteers are asked to complete a volunteer packet before serving.
