The Kidney Walk is the signature event of the National Kidney Foundation, occurring in 60+ communities across the country....and growing!
The Kansas City Kidney Walk is on October 12th at Live! in the Power and Light District. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including:
set up (starting at 6:30 AM)
running an area of the walk (registration/welcome table, kids area, photo booth)
being a cheerleader along the walk route for our walkers
tear down
Our event will be wrapping up around 11 AM.
Why a Sunday? Sundays are the only day of the week that dialysis isn't offered and this is our patient focused event so we cater to their medical schedule as best as we can.
We'd love to have your help. Reach out if you are available and we can help find the right spot for you.
