Individual Giving Manager (Volunteer)

Veterans Without Orders is a veteran-led, non-profit, organization that assists populations without clean water and other essential services. Our goal is to continue serving humanity by utilizing skills obtained while in uniform to conduct sustainable humanitarian projects worldwide.

Requirements

• 1+ years in individual giving and individual relationship-building
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management

Responsibilities

• VWO is looking for a driven, and mission-oriented Volunteer of Individual Partnerships to build and execute VWO's individual giving strategy
• This is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up team that will cultivate a network of donors and individual partners and focused on providing clean water world wide.
• Should have experience ideating and executing a robust individual giving strategy, designed to engage prospective corporate partners and support existing relationships, with a view to meeting larger organizational fundraising goals

Your key responsibilities

• Working with the executive team, ideate and execute an organizational individual giving strategy
• Research and identify potential individual donors
• Target viable prospective partners, developing strategies to yield their financial support
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term strategic development of all individual donors
