What You’ll Do:
As the Department Assistant, you’ll provide critical administrative and logistical support to ensure events run smoothly. Your responsibilities include:
Department Support:
- Assist with event logistics, maintain calendars, coordinate schedules, and manage communications with vendors and clients.
Documentation & Data Management:
- Organize and maintain event records, contracts, and client information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure accurate data entry and tracking of event details. Works with Brand & Content team to keep website content up to date.
Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between the Event Planning team and external partners, handling inquiries and logistical details.
Administrative Tasks:
- Support general office operations, including document preparation and filing.
Financial Support:
- Assist with tracking event expenses, process invoices, and assist with budget management.
On-Site Event Assistance:
- Provide on-the-ground support during events, ensuring seamless execution and resolving any last-minute challenges.
What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in event planning, business, or related fields preferred.
- At least 1 year of administrative or event planning support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with scheduling or event planning software.

What We Offer:

Competitive Pay: Starting range: $19.56 - $22.02 per hour

Flexible Schedule: Part-time, 25 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend work.
