Manager, Prospect Research & Analytics

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is seeking a strategic and analytical fundraising professional to serve as Manager, Prospect Research & Analytics. Reporting to the Director, Development Operations, this role leads prospect research, fundraising analytics, and Development Operations staff while helping advance fundraising effectiveness through data-driven insights and donor intelligence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead prospect research efforts to identify, evaluate, and prioritize major gift prospects.

Develop donor profiles, research briefs, wealth assessments, and fundraising intelligence.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support fundraising strategy and decision-making.

Manage and develop Development Operations staff responsible for constituent data management and gift processing.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor data within Tessitura.

Support prospect management, portfolio reviews, and pipeline development through research and analytics.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five years of progressively responsible experience in prospect research, fundraising operations, advancement services, development analytics, database administration, or a related field.

Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and data analysis.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Experience with Tessitura, prospect research tools, and wealth screening platforms preferred.
