Full-Time Community Partnership Manager                  
Salary Range: $63,000.00- $68,000.00
 
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for initiating, cultivating, and maintaining corporate and community relationships and securing the annual corporate partnership financial goal. The Community Partnership Manager reports directly to the Director of Development & Community Relations and supervises the Volunteer Coordinator.
 
Essential Responsibilities include:
Corporate and Community Partnerships

  • Confidently developing and presenting tailored and engaging presentations for corporate executives, small and large groups, and community partners such as churches and clubs.
  • Conducts continuous market research to expand corporate partnerships to meet the short-term and long-term needs and financial goals of the program.
  • Resourceful in attaining appropriate company and community contacts; cold outreach is necessary.
  • Develop the planning ensuring targeted annual, quarterly, and monthly goals are met or exceeded within the program.
  • Create and promote all components of an official Pawsperity workplace giving program.
  • Fully develop an in-kind giving program for larger-ticket budget items to include in specific corporate outreach and proposals.
Communication/Relationship-Building
  • Conduct and track routine communication regarding invitations, sponsorships, and scheduled check-ins with current corporate and community funders to properly cultivate relationships.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and communicate with current partners regarding sponsorship perks (ie: timing of social media posts, logo listings in newsletters, magazine ads, etc.); ensure specific perks are passed along to the Marketing Specialist to be scheduled/fulfilled.
Management:
  • Provide monthly reports, outcomes, and analysis.
  • Manage the corporate partnership budget.
  • Oversee the Volunteer Coordinator; ensuring they are on track with their goals to meet organizational needs and to assist and guide where needed.
Collaborative:
  • In all areas and responsibilities, work collaboratively to achieve agency goals in a manner reflective of the mission of Pawsperity.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales or within a nonprofit development role working with funders.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with experience drafting solicitations and other professional communications.
  • An understanding of the needs and interests of corporate donors and community partners.
  • Experience using a donor management or sales management system.

  • Strategic.
  • Excellent project manager and multi-tasker.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Personable communication style, yet persistent; isn’t affected if told no.
  • Superior writing and editing skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working well under pressure.
  • Extremely professional; honest and ethical representative of organization.
  • Discretion with confidentiality.
