Nonprofit Connect Request for Quote - Strategic Planning Facilitator
Overview - Nonprofit Connect is seeking quotes for the engagement of a facilitator to conduct a strategic planning session for the organization’s Board of Directors and executive leadership, as the organization looks ahead the next two to three years in focusing on key goals, organizational priorities, key strategy and identifying its desired future state of being. For 50 years, Nonprofit Connect has been an integral convener in the nonprofit sector, providing high quality programming, training, networking and career connections for professionals and volunteers. Now with new leadership and a new team, the organization is well positioned to give focus to its future in planning for its next chapter through strategic dialogue, mission alignment and priority planning. Date and Location - Wednesday, September 30, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (working time 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.), Junior Achievement’s Career Center, 2842 W 47th Ave, Kansas City, KS 66103.
Scope of Project – Nonprofit Connect is seeking a skilled facilitator to conduct a strategic planning session for future planning purposes – taking into account the many voices from across the sector, as represented by the Board of Directors and executive leadership. The facilitator will help organizational leadership share their thoughts, vision, ideas and values, for “what’s next” for the organization, taking into account sector needs and organizational strengths. Primary request is for on-site facilitation, with the opportunity for a pre-planning session and a follow-up debrief conversation, if needed.
Key Deliverables
The selected party will facilitate the session resulting in the following key deliverables:
- (Re)-Affirmed organization vision, values and mission.
- Declaration of a desired future state for the organization in three to five years.
- Identified key areas of priority focus for the next two to three years.
- Identification of key strategies for focus areas.
- Discussion of resource allocation (financial, human, technology, etc.) necessary to support strategic plan focus areas.
Submissions should include the following:
- Company/Organization contact information of primary point of contact/facilitator.
- Price quote and breakdown of what is included in the quote.
- Brief narrative on approach to the project, how time would be structured or a draft agenda.
- Two references of comparable recent work.
- Submissions are not to exceed more than two pages.
Interested parties should submit the information requested above via email to Chad Harris, President & CEO, no later than Wednesday, August 19. A selection for engagement in the requested scope of work will be made by Thursday, September 3.
