Our International Ministry is Thriving
Through a partnership with Bishop Randy Nahial Penoliad in Cagayan de Oro, we are actively supporting prisons in the Philippines by providing Bibles, hygiene items, shoes, and even coffee. These are basic needs we often take for granted, yet something as simple as a pair of flip-flops is a life-changing gift to inmates who have none. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve both locally and globally, fulfilling the Great Commission “to the ends of the earth.”

Increasing our Impact
This year, we launched weekly Bible classes at the Topeka Women’s Facility in Kansas. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with more women engaging and corresponding with us than ever before. These classes have even enabled us to support them in developing reentry plans, an essential step toward successful reintegration.
We’ve also expanded our Sunday chapel services for men to Saturday nights. We have doubled the number of times we are sharing hope and encouragement to multiple times per month.

We Are Out of Book Money
We’re thrilled to report that we have spent every dollar budgeted for our book program. This year, the number of Bibles, educational resources, and other reading materials requested have far exceeded our expectations. We see this as an incredible blessing and confirmation that we’re addressing a critical need within the incarcerated community. However, with your support, we can meet the growing demand for these life-changing materials and reach even more people who are hungry for hope and transformation. Read on to see how you can help.

More Monthly Magazines Going Out
Our national readership is growing! Our monthly magazine distribution is up to 850 copies going to various facilities nationwide. This publication is one of the highlights for inmates, who often write to share their stories of salvation, reconciliation, and encouragement. The magazine is an invaluable way to share the Gospel, testimonies, humor, brain teasers, and words of hope that resonate powerfully with readers who are seeking a fresh start.

Mentoring Is Going Strong
Our mentorship program provides a vital support system for incarcerated individuals, often starting during incarceration and continuing after release. We function as a steady voice, a guide to normalcy, and a resource connector for those who may have never experienced a supportive figure in their lives. The mentorship program not only helps individuals find stability but also reduces the likelihood of recidivism, empowering them to thrive post-release.

We Need Your Help to Grow
The more we help, the more we discover needs to be met. We help individuals obtain GEDs, driver’s licenses, cell phones, lost documents such as birth certificates, and work clothes. We also provide assistance with application fees for housing, transportation costs, food, educational materials and more. Any amount you donate will help keep an inmate from reoffending and reentering the criminal justice system. We work tirelessly to return parents to their rightful place in the home, create entrepreneurs, and give them the confidence to live the lives God always intended. Here are the ways you can give…

Meet Three Success Stories
We are honored to have supported individuals like Darryl Lewis, Dennis Traub, and Charles Jones, who began their journey with us years before their release. Today, they are doing well in society, supported by mentorship, financial aid, and the connections we helped them establish.

Since 2016, Growth Ministries has provided me and many others with invaluable support both during and after our time in prison. Through mentorship, spiritual guidance, and practical resources, they have helped me build a strong foundation and develop a positive outlook on life. Dennis Traub
I first connected with Growth Ministries in 2018 while incarcerated. They have always been there for me in a number of ways. While I lacked a traditional family support system, I found assistance through organizations like Growth Ministries. Even after release they continue to be a support for me. Most of all they have been a friend whenever I needed it. That means more than anything.

Growth Ministries has impacted my life more than I ever thought it would. Lonnie was there for me while I was incarcerated. When I needed somebody to talk to he was there. When I needed help taking care of things he was there. Growth Ministries showed us that we mattered. Since I've been out, with my struggling to get a job, Growth Ministries has been there for me. Lonnie has helped me figure things out when things got tough. Growth Ministries is a big part of my support system.
