Summertime with Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council
INC This Week
- Youth summer camp is every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30-2pm.
- Tuesday at 6pm is the Comprehensive Arts Institute Music rehearsal.
- Wednesday, July 2nd is chess club at 4:30pm and Family Yoga at 5:30pm. At 6:00pm, Ivanhoe is cohosting a Community Potluck and Game Night with Next Step Ministries. Open to the public — bring a dish or drink to share and enjoy in the fun!
- Legal Aid beneficiary deed and property tax support is available every Thursday of the month.
- Due to the 4th of July Holiday, the Eating For You Cooking class will take place on Thursday, July 3rd at 6pm. The center will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, July 7th at 8:30am
Ivanhoe Farmers Market on Saturday, July 12th from 9am-1pm.
Garden Steward Training Learn how to become a steward to the garden with the experts at MU Extension. This is a free, 5 week course from 7/24-8/21
Soil Health Education & Testing MU Extension Master Gardeners will be available every 2nd and 4th Monday, July- October, from 1-4pm to discuss soil health and soil testing.
Ivanhoe Park Celebration
Join in on the annual Ivanhoe Park Celebration on Saturday, July 19th from 11am-2pm. There will be fun for the whole family including live music, resources, face painting, horse back rides and free lunch (while supplies last).
Ivanhoe Summer Program
Children ages 6 to 16 are invited to an unforgettable summer of fun, learning, and friendship at the Ivanhoe Summer Program! Camp runs every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, now through July 31.
School Supply Drive
We are collecting backpacks, school supplies, and feminine hygiene products for our annual back-to-school backpack giveaway on Saturday, August 9th.
