Engage, Encourage, Empower: An Afternoon with Jewish Vocational Service Tour

As the only organization in Kansas City exclusively dedicated to serving immigrants and refugees from all over the world, JVS works to engage, encourage and empower our newest neighbors as they contribute to our community’s economic and cultural strength. JVS serves over 7,500 people every year, walking alongside families as they make a new home in Kansas City, grounded in safety, security, and promise.  In our time at JVS, we will learn about their founding, the work that they've become known for in recent years, and how recent federal policy changes are impacting their work and the individuals they serve.
