Missouri's New Marijuana Laws: What it Means for Nonprofit Employers

What do Missouri's new marijuana laws mean for your nonprofit?

In November 2022, Missouri passed Amendment 3, making it legal to purchase, possess, and sell marijuana. This spring, recreational sales begin.

The recent changes in marijuana laws have left many employers scratching their heads and asking questions like:
- Can employers still require pre-employment drug tests?
- Can you be fired for using marijuana off work?
- What if I'm a Kansas employer, but my employee lives in Missouri and uses marijuana?

If you have questions about what changed, what it means for employers, and what we should keep our eye on as this new regulation unfolds, join Shelly Freeman, JD with FineLine HR to learn how this change affects your nonprofit.
