Race for the Future 5k

Join us for the 25th Annual Race for the Future 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash to benefit the Lee's Summit Educational Foundation and the Carrie Foresee Memorial Scholarship. We're SO excited to bring Race for the Future back in person this year! Join us on Saturday, October 9 at 8:00 a.m. to run or walk a 5K course, beginning at the Lee's Summit West Activity Complex. Kids Dash for children up to 6th grade begins on the track at the conclusion of the 5K Run/Walk (typically between 8:45 and 9 a.m.). Children will run in groups with like-age kids. The oldest children will run approximately 200 meters (half lap). The youngest children will run approximately 50 meters.
