SkillQUEST - October 17, 2025

Join us for a very special girl's night at Science City! SkillQUEST returns to Science City on Friday, Oct 17, and it's a not-to-be-missed evening of science-themed FUN geared to 5-12th grade girls and their families!

This year, SkillQUEST takes on a special adventure theme with Mission: Bayou Rescue! A powerful Category 4 hurricane is heading straight for the Louisiana bayou-and two scientists have gone missing. Now, it's up to you to lead the search and rescue mission!

In this hands-on adventure, you'll learn real-world science skills like water testing, using microscopes, reading maps for navigation, and animal identification. Your mission: complete all four skill stations scattered across Science City to crack the code and report the scientists' location - before time runs out! (But don't worry - you'll have time to explore the rest of the science center on your own too).

SkillQUEST is sponsored by Skill Builders Fund, with support from CORE, and takes place on Friday, October 17, from 6:00-9:00pm.
